Labrador campaigning with Fulcher Friday and Saturday

GOP Congressman Raul Labrador will campaign on behalf of Gov. Butch Otter's challenger, Sen. Russ Fulcher, in North Idaho and the Treasure Valley.

Labrador endorsed Fulcher at a Statehouse news conference Monday.

Labrador became a leading voice of the tea party wing of the GOP in 2009, when he successfully help fight Otter's attempt to raise fuel taxes and registration fees. Labrador also helped engineer the defeat of Otter's candidate for Idaho Republican Party Chairman in 2008.

The pair will meet with reporters Friday morning and then attend a "Pizza in the Park" at City Park in Coeur d'Alene, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

They'll return to Boise for a barbeque from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Fulcher's Boise campaign headquarters, 12552 Executive Drive.

On Saturday, Fulcher and Labrador will work to get out the vote in the morning and attend the 11 a.m. Parade America in Nampa. At 6:30 p.m., the pair will appear at a 6:30 p.m. candidate forum at the College of Western Idaho's main campus in Nampa.
