Election 2015: Before you vote, check what the candidates have to say

Statesman Staff

May 09, 2015 09:16 PM

May 19, voters across the Treasure Valley will choose from 46 candidates in 18 different races for local office.

Depending on where you live, you’ll pick school board members, library trustees and highway district representatives. You'll also decide the fates of six levies and bonds, including a possible new elementary school for Notus, and you'll determine if Kuna residents create a new recreation district for their city.

Early voting is already under way in Ada and Canyon counties. If you haven’t cast your ballot yet, visit our online voter guide first. We've invited all candidates for local office to share their thoughts about why they're running so that you arrive at the polls more informed and engaged.

Later this week, you’ll also find the guide in our Idaho Statesman and Idaho Politics apps.
