An elderly couple was found dead outside their Grand View home Tuesday evening, said Owyhee County Sheriff Perry Grant.
Maurice Law, 89, and Joanne Law, 85, had been “married a long time,” Grant said.
The sheriff’s office isn’t investigating the deaths as suspicious, he said.
It’s not clear how the couple died exactly, and the Owyhee County Coroner’s Office could take up to a couple of months to investigate the deaths, Grant said.
But, Grant said, the couple had been working outside before they died.
“We don’t now know the manner,” he said. “I know they had recently been doing some yard work.”
Investigators believe Maurice Law died first, and Joanne Law died shortly after, Grant said.
