Traffic will likely be backed up on U.S. Highway 20 in Elmore County Thursday through Sunday, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

The delays will be connected to the annual Mountain Home Country Music Festival, which runs Friday through Sunday.

Motorists can expect slow traffic at the U.S. 20 junction at Interstate 84 near the Exit 95 off-ramp. That is expected to continue along 20 to its intersection with Pine-Featherville Road. Flaggers will be directing traffic in that area through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. each following morning, according to the release.

ITD urges drivers to take it slow and be extra cautious in that area.
