A 20-year-old Boise woman was injured about 5:30 p.m. Thursday when she tried to avoid colliding with another vehicle and ended up losing control of her car, Boise police report.

Two lanes of the westbound Connector near the Fairview exit were blocked for about 30 minutes after the crash, police said.

Kristan Selby was entering Interstate 184 from Fairview when she lost control of her Mazda MZ3, which hit the jersey barrier and overturned, police said. She was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center by ambulance. She was wearing a seatbelt, police said.

The vehicle Selby tried to avoid was trying to avoid a collision with a third vehicle, police said.

Idaho State Police are investigating the crash and seek information on the two other vehicles. One was a white four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu, with an Idaho elk license plate that included a 9 and an E, and the other was a silver Saturn hatchback or similar vehicle, police said. Witnesses or others with information about the crash are asked to call Idaho State Police at 846-7500.
