Reminder: Don't miss Idaho Nonprofit Center's 'Resource Thursdays'

Resource Thursdays is a monthly opportunity provided by the Idaho Nonprofit Center for nonprofit staffers to meet nonprofit experts and network with peers.

The program, from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, July 17 at Boise Public Library, follows an open house format.

A 'Featured Roundtable' begins at 4:30 p.m. This month's topic is taking the mystery and apprehension out of fundraising with board members. Beth Markley will lead the discussion.

'Discussion Tables' will be set up to explore the following topics:

Fundraising: Cyn Reneau, AFP Idaho Chapter and Idaho Meth Project, will offer tips and tools.

New & Emerging Nonprofits: Richard Mussler-Wright with the Idaho Nonprofit Center and Sher Brar with Jitasa will help staffers find new resources.

Leadership & Organizational Management: Visit with Laurel York Odell for help with the inner workings of an organization's strategic planning, governance, staff and board relationships, recruitment, and more.

Foundation Directory Online: Librarians will be on hand to help search the library's database.
