Hey, this sounds like fun: karaoke at the Old Pen

"Singin' in the Slammer" takes place from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday, June 13 (of course), at the Old Pen in Boise. The last admission is at $9 p.m. Tickets are $5 and the event is for ages 12 and up.

Visitors will have over 1,200 songs to choose from. Names of participants will be entered into a random drawing. Five participants will be chosen to compete for cash prizes. Competition starts promptly at 8:30 p.m.

When they're not showing off their pipes, visitors will be able to explore the Old Pen on a self-guided tour. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and the informational video “Doin’ Time” will be available for viewing. Pizza, beer, wine, and soda will all be available for purchase.
