Boise Bicycle Project is throwing a big party, looking for volunteers

Boise Bicycle Project enlists armies of volunteers to do its work, rehabbing used bikes and putting them in the hands of people who wouldn’t have them otherwise. The group is organizing a massive party for its upcoming anniversary in October and is looking to the community for help.

Boise Bicycle Project, the folks who put rehabbed bikes in the hands of kids, refugees and others who need them, are now asking for your help.

In addition to celebrating a major expansion, they’re hosting a big anniversary party on Oct. 22 and are looking for volunteers for a variety of tasks, including planning and brainstorming, silent auction, prepping for the party, handling video, DJ-ing and more.

Want to help? Stop by the Events Committee meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the BBP shop and get your name on the list or call 208-429-6520 for more information.
