A rollover wreck ignited grass Monday morning off of Highland Valley Road above Lucky Peak Reservoir.
The fire, which started about 10 a.m., reached just about half an acre before it was put out, said JacQueline Link, spokeswoman for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
Aerial resources, including a BLM heavy air tanker and a helicopter, helped a bulldozer and fire engines on scene.
Link initially said that the driver in the crash was injured. In a written release Monday afternoon, she wrote the driver was alright, “just a little shaken up.”
