Linda Clark, West Ada School District superintendent, was recognized Tuesday as one of 15 education “Leaders to Learn From” in 2015 by Education Week, a national publication on education.
In a profile of Clark, Education Week said the district’s scarce resources have not kept West Ada Schools from being innovative.
Clark's successes include pushing ahead on technology in the classroom and transforming a business warehouse into the district office and a high school while also working with Idaho State University to bring a college campus to the site, Education Week reported.
She is also partnering with the Treasure Valley Family YMCA to blend a YMCA facility with a new elementary school.
