Police late Saturday said a missing Ontario girl, believed to have been unlawfully taken by her mother, had been safely returned.
The child, 6-year-old Olivia Reiher, had been turned over to a family member to be returned to the Ontario Police Department, according to the release. A short time later, her mother, Jeanette Keim, who allegedly violated her custody agreement, turned herself in to OPD and was taken into custody on an outstanding custodial interference warrant.
Police issued a news release Friday saying Olivia was believed to be with Keim, 41. Keim lives in Ontario but police believed she may have been in the Boise area.
