Three Boise residents were charged with multiple felonies after a Boise Police Department investigation found evidence they were writing fraudulent checks, according to a BPD press release.
A bank near the intersection of Kootenai Street and Vista Avenue reported a woman trying to cash a possibly stolen check around 1:15 p.m. Thursday, according to the release.
BPD officers responded to the scene and found the woman and two other people in a vehicle near the bank. All three had stolen checks and cards, according to the release.
The cards and checks appeared to have been taken from Boise residential mailboxes within the past month. Everson and Case were both charged with felony grand theft and felony forgery. Moore was charged with three felony counts of grand theft, one count of felony forgery and was also served a felony warrant, according to the release.
