A male victim suffered injuries described as not life-threatening Wednesday evening after a reported stabbing at a home in the 400 block of West Sherman Street, Boise police report.

Police were called to the area shortly after 6 p.m. The victim was taken to a local hospital, and the suspect in the stabbing also was taken to the hospital for evaluation, police said. The victim and suspect know each other, police said.

No details of the altercation were released, but police said charges are expected to be filed. The incident is still under investigation.
