A woman was reportedly attacked on the Boise Greenbelt early Wednesday, according to the Boise Police Department.
The woman reported the incident at about 1:10 a.m. near the 1000 block of West Royal Boulevard, police said. Someone approached the woman from behind and grabbed her, police said. She used pepper spray to escape, police said.
The suspect in the case was apparently a male, but no further description was available Wednesday evening, police said.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS. The incident is still under investigation.
