A 27-year-old Boise man was arrested Friday after being accused of attacking another man late last month inside a home in the Locust Grove and Franklin Road area.
Ada County Sheriff’s deputies began investigating the case Aug. 27 after a man said he was attacked by an unknown man after answering his front door. He said the assailant pulled out a razor and cut him across the throat before jumping into a car and driving off.
The victim, who was holding a towel on his bleeding neck when deputies arrived, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators identified Anthony R. Schmidt as a suspect early this month. It appears Schmidt attacked the man after talking with a person both men know, according to a report from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
