Canyon County authorities seek fugitives from two domestic violence shooting incidents

The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of two men wanted for causing serious injury or death in a pair of domestic violence cases from the past 18 months.

Erasmo Alcala Diaz, a 51-year-old Mexican national, is wanted for killing his girlfriend, Amparo Godinez Sanchez, 39, June 11 at their home near Wilder. He fled the Red Top Road residence before deputies arrived. He is accused of shooting Godinez Sanchez several times.

Alcala Diaz later abandoned his car near Adrian, Ore., where he has family and friends.

Godinez Sanchez’s family has offered $10,000 for Alcala Diaz’s capture.

Alcala Diaz is described as 5-foot-8, 165 pounds with a medium build, green eyes and brown hair. He is missing his thumb on his left hand.

The Nampa Police Department and The Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force continue their search for Raudel Gonzalez, 46, of Nampa.

Gonzalez is wanted for shooting and seriously injuring his wife at their Nampa home on May 29, 2014. Gonzalez fled and abandoned his car near Lake Lowell.

He is described as 5-7, 205 pounds, with a husky build, black hair and brown eyes.
