Nampa man gets federal prison for selling meth

Michael Bradshaw, 31, of Nampa was sentenced in federal court Thursday to five and a half years in prison for distributing methamphetamine.

Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill also ordered Bradshaw to serve three years of supervised release following his prison term, during which Bradshaw may not have contact with documented gang members. Bradshaw pleaded guilty to the charge on May 26.

According to the plea agreement, Bradshaw admitted selling meth to a police informant twice in September and October of 2013.

This case and related cases resulted from the Treasure Valley Metro Violent Crimes Task Force's investigation of the “Norteno” or Northside gang that is active in Nampa and other parts of the Treasure Valley. Fourteen individuals were indicted on drug and gun charges as a result of the investigation. In addition to Bradshaw, six other defendants have been sentenced.
