Police in Homedale are still searching for a robber who reportedly held up the Jacksons Food Store at 101 East Idaho Ave. about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
According to a news release from the Homedale Police Department, “The suspect never displayed a weapon, but ordered the clerk to open both registers and give him all of the money. The clerk was then told to place the unspecified amount of money into a Jacksons bag and then fled the area on foot.”
“It all happened very quickly,” Homedale Police Chief Jeff Eidemiller told KIVI-TV, Channel 6.
Investigators say the robber was a Hispanic man, possibly between the ages of 20 and 25, with a medium build. He wore a black Nike jacket with the hood pulled up, a dark-colored beanie, brown shorts and dark-colored work gloves.
