Six arrested on drug charges following Boise raid

The Boise Police Department searched inside a house Friday morning on the Boise Bench following an investigation into illegal drug activity.

Police found a number of syringes filled with a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found a small baggie filled with meth, along with illegally obtained prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The Boise Police special operations SWAT team assisted in serving the warrant and providing safety to other officers and to neighbors of the house in the 3900 West Palouse Street. People who police said had frequented the house were known to carry firearms.

Police began their investigation after receiving a tip about possible drug activity.

Kristopher E. Howell, 42, Ashley M. Gray, 20, and Michell A. Carroll, 36, all of Boise, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine. Howell and Gray were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nicholas R.E. Bassick, 29, and Justin J. Navarro, 24, both of Boise, and Courtney C. Robinson, 22, of Kuna, were charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used.
