Nampa police seek suspect in armed robbery

A Nampa business on the 200 block of 11th Avenue North was hit by an armed robbery Sunday morning, according to the Nampa Police Department.

Police responded to the call at about 9:30 a.m.

Witnesses told officers that a Hispanic man in his 30s said he had a firearm behind his jacket and took an undisclosed amount of cash. He then fled the scene on foot, police said.

The man was described as being about 5-foot-10, 140 to 150 pounds, with short to medium length hair and a goatee. At the time of the incident he was described as wearing sunglasses, a black leather jacket, long dark shorts and white shoes.
