Meridian man accused of smartphone voyeurism in Boise clothing stores

A Meridian man arrested Sunday has been charged with three felony counts of video voyeurism.

Boise police say Andrew Dongmin Kim, 20, was arrested after employees of a clothing store and customers said they witnessed a man sliding his phone under dressing room doors, taking pictures and video of women at two separate retail businesses near West Franklin Road and North Milwaukee Street, the area of the Boise Towne Square mall. When officers arrived, the man was being detained by store personnel.

Officers arrested Kim and booked him into the Ada County Jail. He was arraigned Monday and released on $5,000 bond.

Kim’s next scheduled court date is a preliminary hearing set for June 22.
