Meridian police were dispatched Tuesday morning to a report of an armed robbery at the Idaho Center for Behavioral Health, 1965 S. Eagle Road, said Deputy Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea. The robbery was reported at 7:48 a.m.
The center’s website describes it as an outpatient treatment center for drug- and alcohol-related problems, with a focus on opiate addiction.
According to police, a man pulled a handgun on an employee, demanded cash and then fled in a car.
The suspect was described as a white male, about 5-foot-7 and 130 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and jeans. A white bandana was pulled up to his eyes.

The suspect was last seen driving north on Eagle Road in a dark green or dark blue Toyota Camry.
