Nampa man charged with Friday evening stabbing at Boise home

Zakary D. Besendorfer, 19, of Nampa is charged with aggravated battery in connection with a reported stabbing at a Boise apartment complex on Hartman Street near West Fairview Avenue.

When Boise police responded to the 5:15 p.m. call for help, they found two men injured with lacerations, the Boise Police Department reports. One of those men, Besendorfer, was treated and released for his injuries and then booked into the county jail for allegedly attacking the other man.

That man, whose name and age have not been released, was reportedly in stable condition late Friday night in a Boise hospital where he is being treated for multiple lacerations.

The two men knew each other, police said. The cause of the altercation and other details were not available late Friday. The incident remains under investigation.

Boise police initially reported that both men had been cut by "an unknown object."
