Mountain Home man attacked, stabbed

Police found a 21-year-old man lying on South Fifth East Street at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

The man told officers he was attacked by three men and stabbed in the left side of his chest.

He was flown to a Boise hospital, where Mountain Home police said he remained in stable condition on Monday morning.

Police located a “person of interest” in the case.

No arrests have been made so far, but police investigators said they do not believe there is any ongoing risk to the public.

The suspects were all dressed in black clothing, the victim told police. No other description was provided.
