Carlos Joel Reyna Jr., 26, gave himself up without incident late Monday after initially refusing to leave a residence in the 500 block of 16th Avenue South.
Police responded at 5:37 p.m. to a report of a robbery and aggravated assault. The suspect, later identified as Reyna, went inside the home on 16th and refused to come out.
Police believed that Reyna was armed with a shotgun. Officers with the Nampa police tactical team spent hours trying to convince Reyna to come out.
The Nampa police tactical team spent much of Monday evening in front of a home in the 500 block of 16th Avenue South after a reported robbery turned into a standoff situation.

Streets around the house were closed during the standoff.
Reyna was taken to the Canyon County Jail in Caldwell, where he was charged with robbery, domestic battery in the presence of a child, aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance. He was also held on a probation violation.
