Arion Diaz, 41, of Nampa was jailed last month after a Nampa girl told investigators Diaz had been sexually abusing her for more than four years, starting when she was about 8 years old, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case.
Diaz told a Nampa detective the girl was lying about the abuse, according to the affidavit.
A nurse examined the girl who made the allegation and said it appeared she had been sexually abused, according to the document.
The girl told investigators that two of her female relatives also said they had been abused by Diaz. One of those relatives made comments to adults about the abuse.

According to the affidavit, a male witness said that Diaz told him to do sexual things with the girl and made him watch as Diaz did sexual things with the girl. When Diaz found out the boy had told a relative, the boy said in the affidavit, Diaz made him tell the relative he had made it up. Diaz told the boy he would drown him in a lake if he continued to allege sexual misconduct.
Diaz is being held in the Canyon County Jail on $1 million bond. He is charged with five felony counts of lewd conduct with a minor, and Nampa police said Thursday additional charges may be filed.
Diaz is scheduled to be arraigned in 3rd District Court on May 1.
