Nampa police will be watching for drunk drivers overnight Saturday

Planning to drive in Nampa Saturday night or early Sunday morning? If you've been drinking, chances are good that police will stop you.

Starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nampa police will be targeting drunk drivers with the help of Idaho State Police and Meridian and Boise officers.

An estimated 32 percent of fatal car crashes involve an intoxicated driver or pedestrian, police say.
