Nampa police investigate late-night shootout

No one was injured in a shootout between at least two parties in Downtown Nampa late Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.

A disturbance inside a business in the 1300 block of 1st Street South spilled outside into the street — and it concluded with an exchange of gunfire.

The incident was reported to police just before midnight, but those involved in the gun fight were gone when officers arrived.

Investigators said three vehicles and a building were struck by gunfire.

Witnesses told police that there were many present during the shooting, and some were wearing signs of the Devils Disciples motorcycle club.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Det. Chris Davenport, 468-5623. Callers can also leave tips at Crime Stoppers, 343-2677 (COPS).
