The 25-year-old Mountain Home woman who died on Wednesday was acquainted with her believed killer, according to Idaho State Police.

ISP would not confirm the relationship between Justice Gump and 30-year-old Anthony Johnson, who is accused of fatally shooting Gump in Meadows Mobile Park.

Johnson was found dead in a field Friday afternoon of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities with the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office say Johnson killed himself. It’s unclear how long Johnson had been dead when he was found Friday.

Until Monday, law enforcement had not disclosed whether Gump and Johnson knew each other. The circumstances of how they knew each other has not been disclosed.

ISP spokesman Tim Marsano said the investigation into the deaths is ongoing.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Gump and her 5-year-old son at gofundme.com/memorial-fund-for-justice-gump.
