The Latah County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects in a homicide that reportedly occurred Monday in rural Latah County.
The suspects are Keagan Tennant and Matthew McKetta, according to a sheriff’s office news release, and are believed to be armed and dangerous. They may be driving a white 2002 Pontiac Grand Am automobile with Idaho license IBX8758. Latah County Sheriff Richard Skiles said it is believed the men stole the automobile at gunpoint Wednesday night in Moscow.
Skiles said the body of an adult male was found by law enforcement Wednesday and determined to have died from a gunshot wound. The incident took place in a wooded area off of State Highway 8 between Deary and Troy. The name of the dead man has not yet been released.
The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information relating to either of these individuals, contact law enforcement at (208) 882-2216. The public is cautioned to not approach these individuals and call 911 if they are seen.
