A man jogging along the Boise Greenbelt reported being threatened by an unidentified man with a knife near Riverstone Lane around 2 a.m. Tuesday, according to a Boise Police Department press release.
The suspect in the case reportedly wielded the knife and demanded the runner’s valuables. The runner denied and the suspect then reportedly cut the runner, took some of his possessions and fled on foot, according to BPD.
The runner got to a business nearby, and those employees reported the incident to police. Officers searched the area but couldn’t locate the suspect, according to the press release.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, with baggy dark pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and thick gloves, according to BPD.
The runner was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.
