Boise police early Sunday arrested a man accused of drugging and raping a woman in Boise on Saturday morning, a Boise Police Department spokeswoman said.
BPD said they received a call from the female victim around noon on Saturday. She told them a man had forced her to take an unknown substance and then forced himself on her behind a home on Fox Lane.
According to Haley Williams with BPD, investigators identified Jesus Salvador Ramos, 37, as a suspect and located him around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. He remains in the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of rape and is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Police said Ramos and the victim did not know each other prior to the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
