A Nampa man whom police have been searching for since a Nov. 12 shooting was located and arrested Monday evening, according to Nampa Police Department Sgt. Tim Riha.
Hector S. Martinez Jr., 37, is accused of shooting a 32-year-old man in the 3:30 a.m. incident, while the two were in the 300 block of 12th Avenue South.
Police first learned about the victim when a local hospital called, advising them he’d shown up at their door. NPD asked the public’s help to find Martinez in a notice released Nov. 15.
At about 5:30 p.m. Monday, a U.S. Marshals task force found Martinez on the 2900 block of Arrowhead Drive in Caldwell. He’s charged with aggravated battery and unlawful possession of a firearm, Riha said.
The case, Riha noted, is still under investigation.
