Meridian police are seeking a man who brandished a meat cleaver while robbing Idaho Independent Bank at 113 E. Idaho St. in Meridian on Monday afternoon.
Ada County dispatch received report of the robbery at 3:45 p.m. The caller said the man jumped over the teller counter and took an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as an adult, white male about 5-foot-10 in height and 160 pounds. He wore a green coat and possibly jungle camouflage pants with a black and white-striped mask covering his face. He also wore a black stocking cap and sunglasses.
The suspect was possibly driving a silver car with no plates and was last seen traveling north from East Third Street from East Idaho Avenue.
