Idaho State Police seized approximately 55 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 last week, according to an ISP press release Monday.
Huu Tran, 55, was stopped on eastbound I-84 near Caldwell on the afternoon of Nov. 16, ISP said. Tran, of Brick, N.J., was arrested for marijuana trafficking in excess of 25 pounds, according to the release. The estimated street value of the marijuana was $165,000.
Tran was the driver and sole occupant of a Toyota Sienna. Police didn't say why he was stopped.
