One person died in a head-on collision on Idaho Highway 44 near Idaho Highway 16 Saturday, according to Ada County Sheriff’s office.
Another person was transported to the hospital with injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
Idaho 44 was shut down in both directions after the accident as personnel responded and deputies investigated the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
The identity of the victims and details of the crash have not yet been released.
