A teen was transported to a hospital Wednesday morning after he was hit by a vehicle on his way to summer school.
The 15-year-old was riding his bike through a crosswalk on Deer Flat Road in front of Kuna High School when he was hit by a woman headed east in a gray Chevy sedan, said Patrick Orr, spokesman for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. The teen’s condition is unknown at this time.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident after it was reported to dispatchers at 7:58 a.m.
The boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The names of the boy and the driver have not been released.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation, Orr said.
