Two Treasure Valley men were arrested Thursday in connection with a robbery of a Subway store in Meridian, including an employee of the shop, according to the Meridian Police Department.

Brandon Timpson, 35, of Boise, and Casey Riele, 27, of Meridian were both charged with robbery after citizen tips helped officers identify Timpson, police said. Riele was present during the robbery and police allege that he helped Timpson carry it out.

Timpson reportedly entered the Subway on Fairview Avenue and Locust Grove Road Wednesday night and told the staff he had a gun. He then took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene, police said. The robbery was reported just after 9:30 p.m.

Officers arrived on scene, but Timpson was gone. They put out security footage of the robbery and asked the public for help identifying the suspect.
