Madison T. Leger of Meridian was taken to St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center with unspecified injuries after the crash at roughly 9:40 a.m. Thursday, according to an update from Idaho State Police.
Leger was headed west in a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero when she made “an unsafe lane change” onto the off-ramp at the Eagle Road exit, according to ISP. A 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by Michael G. Cullum, 39, of Meridian, then hit Leger’s Alero.
The crash disabled the semi, which combined with construction in the area blocked the off-ramp. The area was cleared and traffic was moving again by 11:40 a.m., ISP reports.
No update on Leger’s condition was available yet from St. Luke’s early Thursday afternoon.
