The public is invited to the 10th annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Idaho State Veterans Ceremony, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd. in Boise, 10 a.m. on Monday, May 26.
The program will include music from the Idaho National Guard 25th Army Band, a wreath-laying ceremony, rifle and cannon salutes, the singing of the Lakota Sioux Memorial Veterans tribute song and more. There will also be a flyover from the Warhawk Air Museum.
Note: no parking is available inside cemetery grounds. Attendees should arrive early, park at the Optimist Youth Sports Complex, 9889 Hill Rd. and take a free shuttle to and from the cemetery. The shuttle is wheelchair accessible and will begin running at 7:45 a.m.

A public ceremony will also take place at 10 a.m. at the Rock of Honor in Julius Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian near the Meridian Senior Center, 1900 N. Records Ave. in Meridian.
The ceremony will include the reading aloud of the names of 62 Meridian residents who have died in combat. Seating is limited at the monument. Attendees are welcome to bring their own folding chairs.
