Paramedics, Eagle firefighters and Ada County deputies responded to an early morning crash into an irrigation ditch north of Beacon Light Road at North Hartley Road and Goodale Trail, an Ada County dispatch supervisor said.

Other drivers reported the car in the small canal about 6:15 a.m. The female driver, who appeared to be injured, climbed onto the top of her car and a short time later was reportedly out of the water, although it was unclear whether she got out on her own or was helped by emergency responders, the dispatcher said.

The woman was being treated on scene and as of 6:45 a.m. had not been taken to a hospital, the dispatcher said.
