A Nampa man died after a motorcycle he was riding hit a 2001 Chevrolet Lumina at the intersection of Robinson Road and Locust Lane Wednesday morning, according to Idaho State Police.
Paul Mackrill, 44, of Nampa, was driving south on Robinson on a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle. The Lumina driven by Sharalyn Rose, 28, of Meridian, was stopped at a stop sign on Locust Lane. According to ISP, Rose pulled out onto Robinson and Mackrill’s motorcycle hit the driver’s side of the Lumina.
Mackrill died at the scene. Rose was taken to Saint Alphonsus in Nampa and discharged later Wednesday, according to the hospital.
Police responded to the incident around 6:10 a.m. Investigators determined that Rose wore a seatbelt and Mackrill wore a helmet.
