Two people were sent to the hospital after a semi crash early Wednesday in Nampa, according to Idaho State Police.
ISP responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near Northside Boulevard at about 12:45 a.m.
Michael Willard, 52, of Newport, N.C., was driving east in a 2015 Volvo semi with a single trailer when he went off the road. The truck slid down an embankment and stopped on railroad tracks, according to ISP.
Willard and the other occupant, Randy Deans, 58, of Pikeville, N.C., were sent to the hospital, ISP reports.

Eastbound I-84 lanes were blocked for about 45 minutes and partially blocked for an additional 90 minutes as crews worked to clear the scene. The crash is under investigation.
