A 2-year-old boy who was found unresponsive in a swimming pool Wednesday night is in critical condition, according to Nampa Police Department.
Personnel responded to the call of the toddler found in a pool on Ord Boulevard at about 6 p.m.
At this point investigators believe the child may have fallen into the pool accidentally. The child received medical attention and was sent to the hospital. He's in critical condition, but stable, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident.
This happened just a day after another toddler was pulled from a Treasure Valley pool and sent to the hospital.
Nampa Police asked that people take extra care and practice water safety around pools.
