Nampa police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspects involved in a vandalism spree near Northwest Nazarene University early Monday.
Forty-nine tires on 19 cars were slashed, causing more than $7,500 in damage, according to Nampa police.
The majority of the cars that were damaged were parked on Holly Street, which goes through the university campus, and Fern Street on the eastern border of NNU, Sgt. Joe Ramirez said.
Other vehicles that had tires damaged were parked on East Florida Avenue and Sunny Ridge Road, he said.

“A lot of the people who were victimized don’t have the money to replace their tires,” and insurance doesn’t cover the damage, Ramirez said.
