Healthy Nampa, a free city-sponsored health day, will be held at the NNU Johnson Sports Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. The event offers mini sports clinics with NNU athletes, Inside Ride, a bike rodeo, inflatables and more.
NNU’s third annual Autism Awareness Day is taking place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on campus. This event features educational workshops and informational booths in the morning, a luncheon for individuals with autism and their families, and an NNU men’s baseball game in the afternoon. The Rippleffect Water Run 5K event is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start on NNU’s campus. Proceeds will benefit Hope Home, an orphanage for children with mental and physical disabilities in Haiti. The 5K is part of the greater Rippleffect student-led campaign to bring awareness to global clean-water issues.
