Dominico G. Stewart, a 43-year-old Nampa man, has been identified as the person found dead in a city alley Monday morning, according to Nampa police.
Nampa Police Sgt. Tim Riha said Stewart’s death has been confirmed to be a homicide but the results of an autopsy Tuesday are not yet available.
Stewart was the victim of violence, Riha said. Investigators don’t believe it was random crime, or that the public is in any danger.
Just after 11 a.m. Monday, police were called to the alley in the 2000 block between 4th Street South and 5th Street South, east of the downtown area.
