No one was injured after a man accidentally drove his van into a KeyBank building in Caldwell on Wednesday morning, according to Caldwell Fire Department battalion chief Brad Carico.
Carico said CFD responded to a call at 309 S. 9th Ave. around 10:30 a.m. While reports haven't been finalized, Carico said CFD believes the driver, an elderly man, accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake.
The amount of damage to the building is unclear, though firefighters noted that a drop ceiling appeared to be knocked loose. KeyBank had experts on site to deal with the situation, Carico said.
