About 300 people participated in the first Idaho Day of Design Monday: a collaborative event to educate students about emerging technology.

The Idaho STEM Action Center teamed up with Idaho libraries, local science organizations and the organization behind Tinkercad software to host the event at the Boise Centre. Tinkercad does demonstrations around the country, and local organizations wanted to bring it to Idaho.

Students got an opportunity to work with hands-on tech, get to know local science organizations and participate in educational seminars.
