Certain Nampa and Boise roads and bridges will undergo maintenance starting in August, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
The Middleton Road overpass crossing Interstate 84 near Nampa will be closed for maintenance from August to late September. Crews are working on the bridge’s deck surface, joints and railings, according to an ITD press release.
Drivers will be re-routed to Midland Boulevard during the maintenance, and some I-84 lanes will be restricted.
The Federal Way bridge over Broadway Avenue in Boise will also be under construction starting in early August. Crews are hoping to wrap up that work by October, according to ITD.

That construction will mean lane restrictions on Federal Way from the Broadway Avenue on-ramp to the off-ramp. Additional lanes may be restricted after dark, according to the release.
The projects are expected to cost about $1.07 million, according to ITD. The funds come from extra transportation dollars provided by the 2015 Legislature.
